Cub Scout Summer Camp
Information For 2008
|
Camp Lazarus Camp
Oyo Chief Logan Reservation
Welcome
We could not imagine a better way to spend the summer than
at camp providing Cub Scouts and Cub Scout leaders an amazing adventure in the
outdoors. We continue to grow more
excited about the opportunity that awaits the Cub Scouts who attend our
programs this year.
Why do boys join Scouts?
One word: Camp. We are dedicated
to giving Scouts the opportunity to experience a quality long term camping
experience and delivering on the promise we made to them when they joined
Scouts. As technology becomes a larger
and larger part of each young person’s life, the few opportunities to go
experience the outdoors become ever more precious and Resident Camp is one of
the greatest.
We have an exciting theme (Olympic Adventures) this year and
are busy putting together a great program to transform our camps into the world
of Ancient Greece. Our staff looks
forward to guiding the Scouts through a journey during their stay focused
around extreme fun and learning. We are
truly amazed at the amount of growth a young person experiences testing their
limits at camp while having the time of their life in the great outdoors. We are blessed to have Camp
Oyo and Camp
Lazarus, one of the only Summer Camps
dedicated to Cub Scouting in Ohio,
and hope to fill them with smiles, laughter and good
times throughout the duration of the camp.
Resident Camp is meant to enhance your unit program and we
look forward to working with you this summer to ensure your boys have a safe
and fun experience. Your Scouts will
feed off of your enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout camp.
Whether it is your first time coming to Resident Camp or it
is a pack tradition we know that you and your Scouts will be excited by the
program and staff we have put together. We
hope this guide helps you in understanding and planning for camp this
year. We look forward to your arrival at
the Olympics.
