Scouting Programs

Boys age 6 or First Grade can join Tiger Cub Scouts
Boys age 7-10 or grades 2 - 5 can join Cub Scouts
Boys age 11 - 17 can join Boy Scouts
Young men and women ages 14 - 20 can join Venturing, Exploring, and Sea Scouts
Note that any youth may be a Scout without regard to background or economic status; resources are available for Special Needs youth.
Adult leaders are selected by the chartering organization and unit committee and approved by the council Scout Executive; they are trained to deliver the promise of scouting to youth in Scouting programs (and have a lot of fun as Scouting volunteers)
