What if! !! You could
find a log cabin nestled in the hills of Fairfield County available for use by
various youth groups.
A place where wild life abounds, such as wild turkeys, deer, grouse, all kinds of rodents, living in a heavily wooded area consisting of all kinds of trees and plant life.
The cabin area consists of a large room on the first floor divided into a kitchen area, dIning area and a conversation area with a large wood burning fireplace. This gives you an opportunity to warm up twice, once when you cut the wood and the second time when you enjoy the warmth given off when it is burned.
The second floor is primarily for sleeping on six large mats. It is extremely nice to listen to rain fall on the steel roof, very relaxing.
The first floor in the kitchen area contains a refrigerator, electric range and work tables and sinks. Well water is available. The cabin is heated by a thermostat controlled gas furnace. There are also four bunk beds, sleeping eight persons on the first floor. There are several lights to illuminate the grounds around the cabin. Oh, yes, now the restroom is inside.
