You can contribute to the success
of the Simon Kenton Council’s programs by supporting our annual
"Friends of Scouting" campaign.
It costs an average of $125 per
year per Scout to provide a top quality program. A donation of $125
in 12 payments is only a little more than $10.00 a month. ($2.50 a Week! 36 cents a
Day!). This is a very small price for an investment in our future –
our young men and women.
Friends of Scouting provides
funding for:
-
Four council operating
camping facilities
-
Youth and Adult
Training Programs
-
The Scouter:
our monthly newspaper
-
Council and District
Events (camporees, summer camp, etc.)
-
Accident and Sickness
Insurance for all youth and adults
-
Professional Staff
-
Scout Service Center
-
Recharter materials
-
AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!
Give what you can! It makes a
difference to OUR COMMUNITY, TO OUR PROGRAM, AND TO THE OVER 42,000
YOUNG PEOPLE IN SCOUTING.
The levels of support are:
- Benefactor: $5,000
- Guardian: $1,000
- Patron: $ 500
- Leadership: $ 250
- Family: $ 125
In addition to your personal gift,
